Sefton Computer Repairs offer a fixed fee service for most common screen problems.

• Is your laptop otherwise working apart from the broken screen? If NO then please contact us to discuss what needs to be done.
• Cracked screens usually show some of the screen area still working, if the screen is lighting up but a crack is visible then please select one of the replacement options below. If you can see the whole screen display but only very dimly (you might need to tilt the laptop towards the light) then please select our dim screen repair service.

Step 1.
Click on the icons below to make payment for your repair. (Credit Card payments are handled for us by Paypal but you do not need to have a Paypal account to use this service). This fixed fee service covers the vast majority of laptops, should yours be particularly unusual (Samsungs, Vaio & touchscreen models such as the HP TX2050 for example tend to be a little more expensive) then feel free to drop us a quick email to check beforehand.

These prices include return delivery to the UK Mainland. For our overseas cstomers, a small additional charge will be requested merely to cover the shipping costs. Please enquire for details. Please note, all prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP). A currency converter may be found here.

Whilst your laptop is with us, we recommend that you take advantage of our optional services to check your Windows installation for errors and remove all traces of Spyware, viruses & other security risks from your system.

Dim Screen Repair. If your laptop is working normally but you can only just make out the picture on the screen then we can repair the backlight circuitry that normally illuminates the display.	£110.00
Windows Service. Most Windows installations accumulate errors as time goes on. A 'software service' for Windows will help your machine run smoother & quicker.	£38.00
Antivirus & Spyware Scan. Virtually every system that comes into our workshop has some form of malicious software installed. For a small fee, we will supply & install the latest antivirus software from AVG, scan & remove any spyware or virus infections that could compromise your online security.	£38.00

We will receive email notification of your payment automatically but please drop us an email after completing Step 2 so we know the laptop's on its way.

Step 2.
Securely package your laptop - please include the ac power adaptor - and send it to us by your chosen carrier. (We recommend that you insure the delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for poorly packaged consignments). Please include your contact details inside the packaging.

If you're located wthin Merseyside or West Lancs, then you can take advantage of our free collection & delivery service, just give us a call after Step 1 to arrange a collection time.

Step 3.
We will examine your laptop on receipt. If the laptop has additional faults or appears to have been damaged in transit then we will contact you before proceeding further.

In the unlikely event that your laptop cannot be catered for under the fixed price scheme then we will contact you with a firm quote. Should you decide not to proceed, we will refund your Step 1 payment & return the laptop to you.

Step 4.
We will carry out the screen replacement along with any optional work specified and return the Laptop to you via insured courier.
